2X Ranks No. 633 on the 2021 Inc. 5000, With Three-Year Revenue Growth of 759 Percent

August 17, 2021

NEW YORK, August 17, 2021 – Inc. magazine today revealed that 2X is No. 633 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.

Starting out with a small team of 10 employees in 2017, 2X has grown to over 200 employees with a three-year revenue growth of 759 percent. 2X is pioneering the Marketing-as-a-Service category through its services that provide outsourced marketing teams to support the build, execute, and run functions in the B2B marketing organization, often delivering a 50-70% reduction in labor cost while expanding the capacity and quality of execution work. With global headquarters outside Philadelphia, PA. and delivery operations in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 2X’s unique approach enables operating model transformation where clients can focus their internal teams on strategy and retain dedicated subject matter experts across a variety of competencies such as account based marketing (ABM), marketing technology management, and analytics to elevate marketing’s contribution to revenue.

“The shift to a digital workforce and the introduction of advanced marketing technology, compounded by the industry-wide reductions in marketing budget and accelerating war for talent, are driving marketing leaders to think differently about how they staff their organizations.” said Domenic Colasante, Chief Executive Officer of 2X.
“The hypergrowth of 2X and our inclusion in the top 15% of the esteemed Inc 5000 list validates that the next wave of marketing innovation is rooted in operating model transformation. 2X is honored to receive this recognition as we continue to reinvent B2B marketing!”

To qualify for the Inc. 5000 list, companies must meet the following criteria:

  • Companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2017.
  • They must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2020.
  • The minimum revenue required for 2017 is $100,000; the minimum for 2020 is $2 million.

The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses. Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, Patagonia, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.

“The 2021 Inc. 5000 list feels like one of the most important rosters of companies ever compiled,” says Scott Omelianuk, editor-in-chief of Inc. “Building one of the fastest-growing companies in America in any year is a remarkable achievement. Building one in the crisis we’ve lived through is just plain amazing. This kind of accomplishment comes with hard work, smart pivots, great leadership, and the help of a whole lot of people.”
